Your monthly payment is for your three allowances. If you decide to upgrade or cancel your contract you'll need to give 30 days notice to us by phone. You'll need a compatible mobile which may mean your phone needs unlocking. Your previous network provider may charge you to do this.
We'll need to run some standard credit checks and some services may not be available to you if your credit score falls below a certain level.
There are 4 internet on your phone boosters to choose from. You'll need internet coverage to use internet on your phone, check it at t-mobile.co.uk/streetcheck. The cost of your booster will be added to your next bill and then every bill each month until you ask us to remove it. The Basic option gives you a 100 MB fair use policy amount to use each month. The Standard option gives you 750MB a month, Extra gives you 1.5GB and Super gives you 5GB a month. We'll monitor how much you use each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you anymore, but we may restrict how you can use internet on your phone, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much. Just remember, you can't use internet on your phone for peer to peer file sharing and if you choose the Basic or Standard options you can't make internet calls ('VoIP') or use your phone as a modem ('tethering').
If you remove a chargeable internet booster and then use internet on your phone you'll automatically be charged our daily rate, see t-mobile.co.uk.
If you choose the standard, extra or super option, you'll also get access to our preferred WiFi partner's WiFi network; presently this is the BT Openzone network excluding any sites providing access to any organisation or location which is part of the Olympic Games in London in 2012. As we aren't the provider of the WiFi service, we aren't responsible for whether there is WiFi available where you want it, or for the quality of that service. We might swap your WiFi service to another preferred partner in future, provided that you get the same experience. There is a 3GB a month fair use policy. If you go over the 3GB, we may monitor your usage and suspend your usage or withdraw the offer from your account.
These plans are for normal person to person use from your phone and are subject to your acceptance of our standard terms and conditions for pay monthly services. We monitor use in accordance with those terms. The terms state that you can't use these plans to sell access to our network to anyone else. They are also not to be used for anything unlawful or to send nuisance communications. At the moment, we'll decide that you're breaking these terms if you text more than 200 different numbers in a month. Remember, we're free to decide that other types of use may also be breaking this term. If you do break this term, we'll contact you and ask you to stop and if you don't then we may disconnect your SIM card from our network.
If you choose a BlackBerry phone from us, and add one of our internet on your phone boosters you'll BlackBerry Mail and BBM for free (usually £5.10 a month). If you choose a BlackBerry phone from us, and add one of our internet on your phone boosters you'll also get BlackBerry Mail and BBM included in the cost of your plan. This booster comes with a fair use policy of 50MB of email data per month. If you go over 50MB in a given month, we may ask you to lower your data usage. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use your Booster, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much.
Calls to our technical customer operations team will cost £1 a call and calls to numbers starting with 070, 09 and 118 are not included in your inclusive allowance. When you spend that top up we will treat you as a customer on our pay as you go Everyday Plan. Calls to UK mobile networks and numbers will be charged at 25p/minute, texts at 12p each, MMS at 30p each and voicemail is charged at 20p/minute. You can't move to any other pay as you go plan or upgrade to any pay monthly plan without first giving 30 days notice to us by phone. When you join You Fix you will receive £2 free credit that can be used for checking your voicemail, picture messages, internet on your phone and making calls from the UK to international numbers. You have 30 days to use your credit before you lose it and we'll send you a text to let you know once you've used all your credit.
Remember internet is not included on your phone with your monthly payment. You'll have to use your flexible booster to get internet on your phone, or purchase an internet booster from the pay as you go booster range. If you've chosen to use a BlackBerry phone with your plan, you'll need to purchase a Blackberry Email booster and also use your flexible booster to get internet on your phone. Internet on your phone and Blackberry Email are subject to coverage. Remember that you can only use internet on your phone in the UK and you can't use your phone as a modem or use internet on your phone for peer to peer file sharing, instant messaging or making internet phone calls. Internet on your phone comes with a fair use policy of 500MB a month. BlackBerry Email comes with a fair use policy of 50MB per month. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use your booster, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much.
Extras with T-Mobile: You can use call me back up to 5 times a calendar month when you are in the UK to send a free SMS to a customer of a UK mobile network or to a UK landline.
If you recommend a friend to join T-Mobile on our SIM only You Fix plan, you and your friend can each get a Booster giving unlimited calls to other T-Mobile customers for 3 months. A fair use policy applies to use of the Booster so if, in the reasonable opinion of T-Mobile, use of unlimited calls is excessive, we may ask for the usage to be reduced. If usage isn't reduced, we reserve the right to remove the Booster. We're afraid that neither of you will get a reward if either of you have given notice to leave T-Mobile.
